MotorSector is a trading name of G R Automobile Services Ltd (company number 15042357). Our workshop is at Penistone Works, Penistone Road, Streatham, London SW16 5LU.

Information we collect
We may collect your name, contact details, vehicle registration and details, booking history, payment records, correspondence, and information you submit through forms or uploads such as MOT failure documents.
When you use our website we may also collect technical information such as IP address, device type and pages visited, through cookies or similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.
How we use your information
We use personal information to take and manage bookings, provide garage services, send estimates and invoices, contact you about your vehicle, handle complaints, meet legal and accounting obligations, and improve our website and customer service.
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with service providers who help us operate the business (for example booking, payment, IT or messaging providers) or where the law requires.
Legal bases and retention
We process personal data where it is necessary to perform a contract with you, to take steps at your request before a contract, to comply with legal obligations, or where we have a legitimate interest in operating and securing our workshop and website.
We keep records for as long as needed for the purpose collected, including warranty, accounting and legal retention periods, and then delete or anonymise them where practical.
Customer uploads and retention
When you upload MOT certificates, photos, videos or other files through our website forms, we use them only to assess your enquiry, prepare a quotation, carry out agreed work, or resolve a related query.
Upload files are not kept indefinitely. We retain them for up to 12 months after the related enquiry or job is closed, or longer only where needed for warranty, dispute resolution, insurance, accounting or legal requirements. Files that are no longer needed are deleted or anonymised.
Do not upload content that is unrelated to your vehicle enquiry. If you want an upload deleted sooner, email info@motorsector.com or call 020 3981 1781.
Website enquiries and marketing attribution
Enquiry forms record which page you submitted from so we can route your request correctly. Submissions are checked for spam and duplicate sends.
Optional marketing attribution (for example campaign or referrer details) is only stored when you opt in to marketing updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Enquiry data is transmitted securely to our systems. Access is limited to people who need it to handle your request.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.
